After 23 years in various law enforcement related positions including 17 years as a police officer, Nick had a breakthrough, formally known as a breakdown.

He was diagnosed with PTSD and set off on a journey to finally process the traumas collected during a career in law enforcement. After a year and a half, with clear intentions and a strong desire to do the work, he went from severe PTSD to no longer meeting the criteria for any diagnosis.

With a new sense of clarity and the unwavering support of his wife Lindsay and her family, he resigned from the only profession that he had ever known. Lindsay and Nick moved from the Calgary area to Sylvan Lake with their three boys and began their search for ways to be of service to others on their own healing journeys. In 2023 Lindsay and Nick found 9D Breathwork and now facilitate transformational breathwork experiences to help others to transcend unresolved, unhealed and the repressed events of their past helping them to unlock their own unique potential.

Nick is currently studying Sacred Alchemy under the guidance of an Algonquin Medicine Man where the non-physical causes of issues are tracked and then resolved using Spirit, Energy, and Consciousness. Additionally, Nick is currently learning Somatic Relational Trauma-informed Practices for Medicine-Assisted Facilitation (More to come…)
